1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrackEdge ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TrackEdge is a trading journal, portfolio tracker, budget planner, and performance reporting tool. We provide market data, price alerts, watchlist monitoring, and automated reports for informational purposes only. We do not provide investment advice, and nothing on the Service constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Market data and prices may be delayed or inaccurate and should not be relied upon for trading decisions. The budget planner and savings goals are for planning purposes only and do not constitute financial advice.

3. Account and Subscription

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.

Subscription plans (Free, Pro, Trader) are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Annual plans are billed once per year. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in Settings. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems
• Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or security controls
• Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the Service or its APIs
• Use the Service to distribute malware or engage in abusive behavior

5. Market Data

Market data (stock prices, company profiles, sector information) is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data. Data may be delayed. Do not rely on TrackEdge data for time-sensitive trading decisions. We are not responsible for any financial losses resulting from the use of market data provided through the Service.

5a. User Data and Imports

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter or import (e.g., trades via CSV). We do not verify imported data against broker statements. Always reconcile with your broker and consult a tax professional for tax-related decisions.

6. Email Communications

By using the Service, you may receive transactional emails including account verification, password reset, and security notifications. Paid users who enable performance reports will receive scheduled report emails. You may receive price alert notifications and streak re-engagement emails based on your activity. You can manage email preferences in Settings or unsubscribe by disabling the relevant options.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your data as described therein. You retain ownership of any data you enter into the Service and may export or delete it at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user-submitted data), is owned by TrackEdge and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate and is not suitable for real-time trading decisions. Tax reports, performance reports, and budget planning tools are for informational purposes only and do not constitute tax, investment, or financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackEdge and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or trading losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TrackEdge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
